Sakarya Gynecology and Children’s Diseases Hospital

Sakarya Gynecology and Children’s Diseases Hospital comprises six main blocks, five of which are rectangular. The building system chosen is a beam-slab floor acting in one and two directions, with slab thicknesses of 22 cm. A total of 198 seismic isolators are used, placed on columns ascending from the foundation and in the double raft foundation slab under the basement.

The design considers a Design Basis Earthquake (DBE) with a 475-year return period and a 10% probability of exceedance in 50 years. The Maximum Credible Earthquake (MCE) spectrum is used to determine the lateral displacement limits of the isolators.

Services provided within the project scope include seismic design, structural design and detailing, technical specification preparation, and Bill of Quantities (BoQ) preparation.
