Kocaeli Gypsum and Gypsum Board Plant

With the awareness that technological development is one of the most important conditions for maintaining the tough competition in the world markets and always providing good service and products, Knauf put the Izmit Production Facility into operation in 2000 as a part of its technological investments.

Gypsum board, plaster, profile, cement-based plaster and tile adhesives are produced in the Izmit Production Facility, which is established on a total area of ​​118,000 sq. meters, including approximately 30,000 sq. meters closed and 88,000 sq. meters open area.

The facility consists of 3 production areas: Alçıpan, Gypsum and Marmorit.
