ISDB-CB1.3 Seismic Performance Evaluation of Buildings

The objective of the Project is to conduct vulnerability assessments and prepare preliminary and final structural retrofitting designs, including consideration of non-structural elements, architectural, mechanical and electrical designs, cost estimates, bills of quantities, specifications, tender documents and provide an overview synthesis of the feasibility of the program in terms of technical, economic criteria for the selected 82 public buildings located in the province of Istanbul

In this context; Taking architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical surveys of reinforced concrete and masonry structures, preparing current state projects, taking core samples to determine concrete strength, determining damaged and undamaged reinforcement, carrying out drilling geological-geophysical surveys in all areas as required by the specifications, Reinforcement projects are carried out in accordance with the Regulation on Buildings to be Built in Earthquake Zones, survey and evaluation methodology, masonry and reinforced concrete structural analysis methodology, material evaluation of each building, geological and geotechnical current situation evaluation, preliminary design and final design reports are prepared and comply with World Bank norms.
