Haseki Training and Research Hospital project, which is among the important health projects of Istanbul, is being carried out by Prota Engineering and Consultancy Services Inc. The architectural design is prepared by Altu Architecture Ltd.
With a total of 300 bed capacity, Haseki Training and Research Hospital is located in Fatih, İstanbul.
Hospital building consists of one single block. The hospital building is designed under DD1 and DD2 earthquake levels. Building is designed as seismically isolated. A total of 248 earthquake isolators were used in the structural design. The building has 14 floors. The building’s foot print area is approximately 6400 m².
The objective of the design services is to conduct vulnerability assessments and prepare preliminary and final structural designs, cost estimations, bills of quantities, specifications and tender documents for Haseki Training and Research Hospital was undertaken.
