Fortezza Beach Resort Hotel Seismic Retrofitting

The objective of the design services is to conduct vulnerability assessments and prepare preliminary and final structural retrofitting designs, including non-structural elements, cost estimates, bills of quantities, specifications and tender documents for hotel buildings located in Marmaris. Fortezza Beach Resort has a closed area of ​​15,000 m² and consists of 7 main blocks and 1 restaurant block.

The following works were carried out within the scope of the project:

• Geological site studies and determination of ground conditions
• Structural assessment and preparation of drawings of existing system
• Structural seismic analysis of existing system
• Identifying structural system weaknesses
• Concrete and reinforcement sampling and strength tests
• Detection of existing reinforcement combinations of structural elements with non-destructive methods
• Evaluation of the current structural situation and reporting
• Decision of the retrofitting method and conducting structural analysis
• Preparation of reinforcement details and project
• Preparation of BoQ, technical specifications and tender documents.
