Erzincan State Hospital

Erzincan State Hospital comprises six main blocks, with five of them designed in a rectangular form. The building loads, tailored to the architectural design constraints, have led to the selection of a beam slab floor system, acting in both one and two directions. Slab thicknesses are anticipated to be 22 cm at upper floors and 25 cm at the +0.00 level, which is situated on earth fill.

A total of 369 seismic isolators are integrated into the building, placed on the columns ascending from the foundation. These isolators are installed in the double raft foundation slab under the basement. Additionally, embedded blocks containing car park and technical room functions around the main blocks are designed without isolators.

Specific design earthquake spectrum of Design Basis Earthquake (DBE) with 475 years of return period and 10 % probability of exceedance in 50 years is used for the section designs, and spectrum of Maximum Credible Earthquake (MCE) is used for the determination of lateral displacement limits of the isolators.

Within the scope of the project seismic design, structural design and detailing, technical specification preparation, BoQ preparation services were given.
